AMC Christ Church is a Bible believing, faith-based Anglo-pentecostal church based in Liverpool, United Kingdom and led by Rev. Ugo Ebede.
We are an integral body of AMC Diocese, Europe, and were officially inaugurated by the Lord Bishop Rt. Rev. (Dr.) Gideon Illechukwu (the Bishop of AMC Diocese of Europe) in October 2022, who then handed over in January 2023 to Rev. Ugo Ebede, Dr. Uzo Egere and their families to Pastor and grow the church. Since then, and by the grace of God, we have grown to a much larger congregation of men, women, youths, and children who are passionate and zealous for the Lord.
We now form a growing community of day to day people from different nations and denominations, who are passionate about imparting and empowering believers and non-believers to embrace the love of God in Christ Jesus, as we journey together in creating a Godly community that will thrive in love, unity and care for one another.
In Christ church, we are a caring, loving, and welcoming family. So, whether you are still exploring faith or an established believer in Jesus, we welcome you to connect with us and discover a community where you will be loved, championed, encouraged and spurred on to become all you can be in God.

Rev. Ugo Ebede’s journey into ministry is a testimony of divine calling and unwavering faith. From a young age, he felt a strong conviction to serve God and bring people closer to Him. Over the years, through prayer, dedication, and discipleship, he embraced his calling into pastoral ministry, equipping himself with the Word and a passion for spiritual growth, evangelism, and community impact.
His ministry is built on the foundation of love, faith, and service, emphasizing the power of God’s Word to transform lives and strengthen the body of Christ. Through teaching, preaching, and shepherding, he has nurtured a congregation that thrives on biblical principles and a deep sense of fellowship.
